It has been a vey long time since I wrote something in my blog. I have been far to stressed out to be able to do anything I enjoy. It has been a period of all work and no play.

Finally I came to my senses and quit my underpaid teacher’s job. I applied for another job and I actually got it. I felt very pleased with my self. Now I have a much higher salary and more free time and I am doing what I rely love doing. I coaching and teaching young adults with psychiatric handicap how to cop, using the Dialectical behavior therapythe developed by Marsha M. Linehan. I think it’s a very rewarding job and I love every minute of it.

We are now deep in to autumn and winter is knocking on the door. Winter is my number one hate object. This summer has been ghastly so I told my husband that if I couldn’t get away and have some sun I would completely go of my rockers.

At the end of August we went to Malta and loved every minute of it. Why Malta? It’s where I will retire. So now I’m studying Maltese. Why, because I’m nosy and must understand everything. What has Malta got that Sweden hasn’t? Well, warm whether for starters. It’s a warm miniature sort of an England but with much more character and wonderful people and it’s surrounded by wonderful waters to swim in. It is the land that I feel I could die in when time comes. We visited both Gozo and Comino as well. I could easily see me retiring in Gozo. I loved the city Victoria and the little fishing village Xlendi. This trip will really help me through winter.

All for now. Love Gittie
